INGREDIENTS

Baklava cake

  • Filo dough
  • TINE® Brunost™ slices or TINE® Brunost™ Sweet Spread
  • Nuts, chopped
  • Pistachio nuts
  • Butter, melted

Sugar Brine

  • 150g water
  • 150g sugar
  • 200g honey

PREPARATIONS
  • Add a layer of filo dough in your cake tin and brush with butter. Repeat until you have 6 layers.
  • Add a layer with TINE® Brunost™ (slices or sweet spread) over the filo dough and repeat the process until approx. 30 layers. You will add TINE® Brunost™ on every 7th layer.
  • Put in fridge for approx. 30 min.
  • Cut into pieces of size after own wish.
  • Bake in oven at 150° C for approx. 25 min (or until golden surface).
  • Brush richly with sugar brine.
  • Let the Baklava cool down before serving.
  • Tip: Sprinkle with chopped nuts and/or a little grated TINE® Brunost™.
