Cheesy Gochujang Pasta

INGREDIENTS
  • 250g pasta
  • 50ml olive oil
  • 30g chopped garlic
  • 30g finely diced onions
  • 150g smoked chicken sausage, diced
  • 2-3 tbsp gochujang paste
  • 1 cup water / stock
  • ½ cup cooking cream
  • 100g Tradition Mac & Cheese melt
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 10g chopped chives

PREPARATIONS
  • Bring a pot of water to a boil. Salt the water and follow the package instructions to cook the pasta to al dente.
  • Preheat sauté pan over medium heat. Add 2 tbsp oil and diced chicken sausage and sauté about 1 – 2 minutes.
  • Add garlic, shallot, and sauté until soft and translucent.
  • Add gochujang paste and sauté for about 1 minute.
  • Add stock/water and cream. Stir until the paste and the cream are fully incorporated.
  • Sprinkle Tradition Mac & Cheese Melt and stir until melted.
  • Turn down the heat and let simmer. Season to taste.
  • Add cooked pasta to the sauce. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  • Turn off heat and sprinkle chopped chives.
