INGREDIENTS
  • 1 pack Johnsonville 3 Cheese Italian Style meatballs (cut into slices) brown with some butter & olive oil
  • 12-15pcs lasagna sheets
  • 500g Granarolo Ricotta Cheese
  • 1½ cup (250g) Tradition Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup (100g) Tradition Shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1 large diced onion
  • 2 tbsp Filippo Berio Olive Oil
  • 4 gloves minced garlic
  • 1½ cup (350g) Filippo Berio Bolognese sauce
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 3tbs laCorvinia mashed tomatoes
  • 1tsp dried basil and dried oregano
  • Salt, sugar and black pepper to taste

PREPARATIONS
  • Preheat oven to 180°C
  • Cook the lasagna according to instructions. Drain, rinse with cold water, Set aside.
  • Sauté the sliced 3 Cheese Italian Style meatballs slices over medium heat until browned.   and aromatic with some butter and olive oil. Remove and set aside.=
  • Sauté the diced onion and minced garlic with olive and cook until soften.
  • Stir in the mashed tomato, beef broth, Bolognese sauce, basil, oregano, salt, sugar and black pepper and let it cook for 10 minutes. Return the cooked meatball slices to the sauce.
  • Combine the ricotta cheese and a pinch of salt and pepper to taste. Mix well.
  • To Assemble the lasagna, spread a layer of the meat sauce and meatball slices in the bottom of an oiled 9x13 inches baking dish. Arrange lasagna sheets on top.
  • Spread half of the ricotta cheese mixture over the lasagna sheets, follow by half the ricotta cheese mixture, and mozzarella cheese. Repeat the assembling procedure for the balance lasagna sheets and meat sauce. Top the final layer of the lasagna sheets with the remaining meat sauce and sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Foil and cover the baking dish and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the top begins to get lightly browned. Remove from oven and let cool for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
