INGREDIENTS
  • 340g Tradition Shredded Colby Jack
  • 125g diced jalapeno
  • 35g diced capsicum 
  • 55g breadcrumbs
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 80g cream
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 350g cornmeal

PREPARATIONS
  • Place shredded colby jacl, diced jalapenos, diced red capsicum, breadcrumbs, salt and cream in a mixing bowl.
  • Mix thoroughly with gloved hands until well mixed.
  • Store kneaded mixture overnight
  • Make into small ball shape by rolling quickly between gloved hands.
  • Coat cheese balls with buttermilk and bread with cornmeal, repeat process one more time.
  • Pre heat deep fryer to 180°C.
  • Fry cheese poppers until golden brown for about 7-8 mins.
  • Serve with ranch dressings.
